Goods were shipped on 4 September, haven't arrived 15 October, Merlin says they are waiting for their "courier" to investigate, meanwhile the 48-hour tracking on Royal Mail shows they haven't moved in 6 weeks.It's fine to "investigate" with your "courier" - but you simply cannot sit on your customer's cash for such a long time! Does not seem like an honest merchant.

At first I had a really good experience buying a bike from Merlin Cycles. The customer service was really good and I got quick responses. But when the bike arrived I realised that the size that I ordered was too big. Most other companies and bike companies has free returns and if they don’t they can at least help the customer send the product back even if the customer has to pay the cost. I bought a bike for about 1300 euros and the cheapest cost to send it back is 700 euros from Sweden. It would be much cheaper for a company to send it instead of a private person but Merlin Cycles can’t help me order the shipping back.

Just limited or no availability of stock. New shipping rates to UAE are also ridiculous considering that your competitors have brought these down even minimum spend amount for free shipping.

Waited over 4 weeks for my package to arrive and was just sitting in my home town depot for 3 of them. Box came damaged abs helmet strap is already broken and helmet looked used

Buyer be ware! I purchased a saddle bag from Merlin Cycles a month ago (web order WEB11280340), never arrived. Contacted them every 2 days with little response from Gemma in Sales and no one other than Gemma can respond. Terrible service, no follow up and they want me to resolve with Royal mail as they see them selves as not responsible, really? Who contracted them, me? Either way, I never received my order, I am out of pocket and they do not seem to care. Don’t risk it, do not buy from Merlin. Sad that I only got a refund after I published this review, should not get to this!


Could not order Continental tyres due to Covid and weight issues but Hutchinson was ordered - no restrictions. (South Africa) Sent me wrong Selle Italia. Upon enquiry, I was told could be returned for a refund. Considering import taxes and shipping costs and still again returning costs, certainly not viable option to return.

Product entirely as described but delivery tracking did not change from despatched until I received a message saying delivered, at which point I opened my front door to discover my package on the door step!

Smooth order process, quick dispatch. Took off one star as the rotors I ordered were slightly out of true. They were packaged in plastic bags inside the shipping box with all my other items and I could hear them rattling around when I picked up the post from the post office so guessing they got a bit bent during shipping.

God Price and fast delevery but do not understand why my tings were partly assemly

Been waiting for my order for a month and a half. Any attempt to contact Merlin customer support has been met with a standard response - something about Covid delays, clearly generic.When I mentioned that another, later order arrived quickly without a hitch - they finally agreed to "raise an investigation with the courrier".That's really great, but I am the customer, I shouldn't be stuck in the middle.Just give me back my money already!

A1 but free returns or cheap return voucher would be nice
